Cash back: ATM use rises as people use cash to budget with last branches in town seeing spikes of up to 154%
- Cash usage rises for second year in a row with 31.4 million withdrawals made from Nationwide ATMs last year
- Competitor branch closures see average ATM usage increase 55% in towns where Nationwide is last branch in town

Nationwide cuts fixed mortgage rates by up to 0.31%
Effective from tomorrow, Friday 8 December, Nationwide Building Society will be reducing selected rates by up to 0.31 percentage points across its two, three and five-year fixed rate product range, with Nationwide’s lowest rate now standing at 4.29%.
