On 13 December, Nationwide Building Society will launch a new issue of its Triple Access Online Saver/ISA.

The new rates of interest are:

• Triple Access Online Saver – 1.10% AER/gross for 12 months
• Triple Access Online ISA – 1.10% AER/tax-free for 12 months

• People spend an average of £725 at Xmas on presents, preparations and workplace festivities
• But more than a third don’t budget at all, while 81 per cent of those who do overspend
• Nearly one in five admitted to struggling last Christmas, with one in 20 left in significant debt

Nationwide Building Society is, from Wednesday 20 November, reducing rates on selected two, three and five-year fixed rate mortgages available up to 60% LTV by up to 0.15%, as well as reducing ten-year fixed rates by up to 1.10%.
