Nationwide Building Society today announces its latest venturing fund investment in Bunk, a digital lettings agency. 

• Only a third of over 55 year olds plan to move to a smaller house, shows Nationwide poll

After more than eight years on the board, Lynne Peacock, Senior Independent Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee, will retire from Nationwide at the end of 2019.

Nationwide Building Society is today making changes to its fixed rate savings range with new rates for its one and two-year Bonds and Fixed Rate ISAs (FRISAs).

From Wednesday 24th July, Nationwide Building Society is reducing selected 2, 3 and 5 year fixed rate mortgage products by up to 0.10%.

• Nationwide is offering extended maternity leave to employees when their baby is born before the 37th week of pregnancy
• The policy provides second parent 4-weeks hospital leave to support their partner and family
• Policy designed in consultation with Nationwide Group Staff Union (NGSU) and employees who’ve had children prematurely and is available now to all employees who need it

Nationwide Building Society is today withdrawing its three and five-year Fixed Rate ISAs, Fixed Rate Bonds and Fixed Rate e-Bonds from sale.
