Nationwide Building Society withdrew its market-leading switching incentive at midnight on 30 November.
Since the offer was introduced two months ago (3 October) the Society has seen record levels of members opening a current account and receiving the £200 incentive.
The Society will honour any applications submitted before the offer was withdrawn.
