Northampton manager named Nationwide's employee of the year 2016

Customer Experience manager Caroline Kingston, of Weston Favell, Northamptonshire, took home the coveted accolade, in recognition of her commitment to delivering outstanding customer experience.

The Awards celebrate Nationwide’s highest achievers for their commitment to delivering excellent customer service, promoting the organisation’s values, increasing their performance and for being inspirational leaders among their colleagues. Nationwide’s top performers from across the business attended the event and shared in the celebrations.

As a result of winning, part of Caroline’s enhanced role will be to represent the world’s biggest building society as she travels to branches, events and administration centres over the next 12 months.

Speaking at the event, Caroline said: “To receive the award for employee of the year has been the proudest moment of my working life. The award represents so much hard work from so many incredible people in Member Services and Customer Experience who give their whole selves to what they do. I enjoy what I do and love who I work for, and am looking forward to meeting so many likeminded people over the course of the next year.”+

For the first time in the 20-year history of the Employee of the Year awards, two winners were chosen this year. Alongside Caroline, Financial Planning Manager Bharat Chudasama from Leicester also won the award for his excellent service to customers in Leicester branch.
