Nationwide further reduces mortgage rates

Nationwide Building Society is reducing rates on selected fixed mortgage products by up to 0.29 percentage points. The new rates will be effective from tomorrow, Wednesday 13 September 2023.

New customers moving home: reductions of up to 0.29% across two and three-year fixed products up to 95% LTV, including: 

  • Three-year fixed rate at 60% LTV with a £999 fee is 5.64% (reduced by 0.14%)
  • Two-year fixed rate at 95% LTV with a £999 fee is now 6.44% (reduced by 0.29%)

 First-time buyers: reductions of up to 0.25% across selected two and three-year fixed products up to 95% LTV, including: 

  • Three-year fixed rate at 75% LTV with no fee is 5.94% (reduced by 0.25%)
  • Two-year fixed rate at 60% LTV with a £999 fee is now 5.89% (reduced by 0.06%)

Remortgage: reductions of up to 0.18% across selected two and three-year fixed products up to 90% LTV, including: 

  • Three-year fixed rate at 75% LTV with no fee is 6.09% (reduced by 0.06%)
  • Two-year fixed rate at 60% LTV with no fee is now 6.14% (reduced by 0.18%)

Nationwide is also reducing switcher, additional borrowing and rates for existing customers moving home by up to 0.14%.
